It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the 19th Annual Bioenvironmental Polymer Society (BEPS) Meeting, to be held September the 28th-30th 2011, at the Vienna University of Technology.
This year's meeting promises to boost knowledge of the current state-of-the-art research in synthetic, renewable and natural degradable polymers and (nano)composites. We already have some of the leading researchers from academia and industry confirmed as plenary, keynote and invited speakers. The meeting will provide opportunities for knowledge exchange and interaction through oral and poster presentations as well as our attractive social programme.
This year is particularly special as for the first time since its foundation in 1992 that the BEPS comes to Europe. The meetings have previously been held in North and Central America, and in recent year have attracted many leading researchers from around the world. Usually between 150-200 scientists and engineers from academia, research institutes and industry, as well as business leaders from every field concerning renewable and degradable materials attend. This year's BEPS meeting is the chance to catch up on the latest innovations and ideas and should not be missed - we look forward to welcoming you to our meeting in Vienna.
Ideally located in the heart of Europe, Vienna’s unique atmosphere provides inspiration for an interactive scientific meeting. Attendees and participants will have time to enjoy a wealth of culture and historical places in and around Austria's capital city.
Yours Sincerely,
Prof. Alexander Bismarck (Vice President and Meeting Chair),
and on behalf of the BEPS 2011 Organising Committee and the BEPS Board of Directors.
